What to do, by goal

Sell digital products

Selling digital products from Pakistan takes one extra step.

  1. Dodo Payments — This country is not on its accepted list: ask its support before you build on it.
  2. PayPal — Only if your account is allowed to receive and withdraw — check first.
  3. Payoneer — Handy to receive and convert your payouts.

Get paid by clients

In Pakistan, freelancers usually get paid through a receiving account.

  1. Payoneer — Receiving accounts for clients and marketplaces, then withdrawal in local currency. Each application is reviewed.
  2. PayPal — Only if your account is allowed to receive and withdraw — check first.

Run a SaaS

For a SaaS in Pakistan, the usual path is a receiving account first, then a US company.

  1. Dodo Payments — This country is not on its accepted list: ask its support before you build on it.
  2. Payoneer — To receive payouts in a foreign currency.
  3. Firstbase — Later, when revenue justifies yearly costs: forms a US company so you can use Stripe.
  4. doola — Another option, with yearly plans that can include the US tax filings.
  5. Wise — A Wise Business account for that company, to hold dollars and convert payouts to your currency. Check that Wise accepts your company first.
